Coach Emily Turek
Hello my name is Emily Turek and I am so excited to be back for my fourth year as head coach for the Palmerton Porpoises. I grew up swimming in the Suburban Swim League for Whitehall. When I am not at the pool, I teach elementary school for Palmerton Area School District. I look forward to another summer helping swimmers set goals, improve their strokes, make memories and most importantly have fun!
Hi! My name is Emily Newton. I am very excited for my first year as an assistant coach and to share my swimming experience with the Palmerton Porpoises! I began my swimming career with the Anthracite Swim League and later continued at Shippensburg University, where I competed for four 4 years. During my time at the University, I also assisted with coaching at the Shippensburg Aquatic Club. I look forward to a fun season helping swimmers develop strong stroke technique and build confidence in the water.
